A radiological system comprises an X ray tube (1) and collimator (2) which emits a beam (4) towards an intensifier (5) and video camera (6). These equipments are mounted at either end of a curved arm (7) which is pivoted to permit rotation about three orthogonal axes (x,y,z). A laser source (12) mounted near the X ray tube (1) emits a beam (13) parallel to one of the three orthogonal axes. One of two mirrors (14, 15) attached to a head frame (10) and patient platform (9) are used successively to reflect the beam (13) to a target disc (16) to guide precise alignment of radiological system to patient. |
