Crossbeam on vehicle used as container support

The crossbeam (1) is used for a load-bearing vehicle. It has locking devices, especially twist locks (8) on the ends of the beam, which may engage with a container. The beam has two sprung rollers, just inboard of the locking devices, and rotating on vertical axes. There is a central bolt in each roller, surrounded by a coil spring (7). There are U-shaped mounting devices (4) under the two rollers which hold the central bolts.
