PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for an electric wire-coating material which can enhance heat resistance without using electron beam crosslinkage, contains no metal hydroxide added as a flame retardant, has no possibility of lowering mechanical characteristics and chemical resistance, suppresses occurrence of dice scraps at the time of production, obtains excellent productivity, and has flame retardancy; an insulated wire; and wire harness.SOLUTION: An electric wire-coating material composition contains the following (A) to (H), and contains no metal hydroxide. (A) silane graft polyolefin in which polyolefin with a density of 0.855-0.920 g/cmis grafted with a silane coupling agent; (B) unmodified polyolefin with a density of 0.885-0.956 g/cm; (C) modified polyolefin modified by one kind or two or more kinds of functional groups selected from a carboxylic acid group, an acid anhydride group, an amino group, an acrylic group, a methacrylic group and an epoxy group; (D) a bromine-based flame retardant and antimony trioxide; (E) a crosslinking catalyst batch in which a crosslinking catalyst is dispersed in a binder resin; (F) an imidazole-based compound modified with zinc oxide and a mercapto group, or zinc sulfide; (G) an oxidation inhibitor, a metal deactivator and a lubricant; and (H) silicone oil.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
