PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a manual printer in which a stabilized printing operation can be carried out by sustaining constant gap and angle between a recording head and a recording medium. SOLUTION: In the manual printer, a print block 4 comprising a recording head 10, a travel roller 5 and a protrusion 6 is coupled through a universal joint with a body section 1b. Since the print block 4 can tilt with respect to the body section 1b and the attitude of the print block 4 with respect to a recording medium P can be retained regardless of the tilting direction of the body section 1b, the gap and the angle between the recording head 10 and the recording medium P can be kept constant and a stabilized printing operation can be realized. |
