<p>A detergent composition which exhibits good detergency against greasy stains and soils in washing even under low temperature conditions. The detergent composition contains at least one member selected from among fatty acid amide type surfactants represented by general formulae (I), (II), and (III) in a specified amount range wherein R represents an alkyl group having 7 to 19 carbon atoms, or the like; Y represents an alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms, an alkyl group optionally containing an oxyalkylene group, or the like; Z represents an alkylene group containing an oxyalkylene group; and m is 1 to 6, provided that when both m and n are present, they are selected so that m + n is equal to 1 to 7.</p> |
