A spring arrangement consists of two parallel rings, each separated by a series of equidistantly-spaced helical springs, the two ends of which rest on the respective discs. The springs are located at their ends in flanges projecting from the discs. The spring wire used is of rectangular cross-section, the longer faces of which are directed to the respective disc faces. One or both ends of each spring is secured to a ring.
