Hook arrangement for the interior of a motor vehicle

Interior of a motor vehicle is provided with a hook arrangement comprising a hook member (2) on a base plate (1), located in a recess (14) in a wall (5) of the foot well (7) on the passenger's side and in the corresponding area of the lining (4). The hook member is movable between inoperative and operative positions and, when in use, does not protrude into the foot well area. Preferable, the recess is provided in the wall of the central console or a door column, with parts of the lining between the base plate and the console or column and thus fixed in place. The hook is rotatable about an axis parallel to the plane of the base plate.
