The invention relates to novel triiodine aromates containing perfluoroalkyl groups, to a method for the production thereof, and the use of said aromates as contrast agents for x-ray diagnosis, in addition to magnetic resonance diagnosis and magnetic resonance spectroscopy by fluorometry. The invention also relates to diagnostic agents containing said novel compounds.
