PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction and injection device of a reagent capable of sucking the reagent in a selected liquid layer and automatically injecting in into an analytical container. SOLUTION: A suction and injection device of a reagent is provided with a robot 10 moving a syringe 18 gripped on a head 12 between an original container A of a first stage 2 and an analytical container of a second stage 6, a boundary face detector 22 disposed in the neighborhood of the original container A of the first stage 2 and detecting a boundary face between liquid layers (a), (b) in the original container A, and a controller 24 controlling the lowering of the head 12 on the basis of a detection signal from the boundary face detector 22 and positioning an edge of a suction tip 20 of the syringe 18 in the liquid layer selected in the original container A. |
