The box lock has a trap (3) in which the bicycle can be locked by pushing the front wheel, rear wheel or frame into it.(J.1) When the trap is pushed in, the locking bar (4) is raised and falls into the boring (7) in the trap. The closing cylinder has to be turned to enable the grip to lift the locking bar out of the boring so that the closing spring opens the trap.
