FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: mechanism can be used in devices which operate under substantial power loads. Power load transmission mechanism is made in the form of pivoted four-link arrangement consisting of crank, connecting rod, rocker arm, and post. Lengths of links in mechanism meet following expression (1-lambda<SB>1</SB>)<SP>2</SP>= lambda<CHF>2@2</CHF>+lambda<CHF>2@3</CHF>, where lambda<SB>1</SB>,lambda<SB>2</SB>,lambda<SB>3</SB> - relative lengths of crank, connecting rod and rocker arm. According to aforesaid expression, maximal value of transmission angle is achieved when crank is positioned at line of centers. Aforesaid realization of lengths of links in transmission mechanism enhances its operational efficiency in transmitting power loads which are variable within ranges of direct and reverse strokes of operating link.
