PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a device in a compact manner through reduction of the width and the depth of a casing and to save a space for an arrangement place. SOLUTION: In the outdoor machine of an air-conditioner provided in a casing 10 with a compressor 1, an accumulator 3, a heat-exchanger 6, and a blower 5 arranged such that air flows through the heat-exchanger 6, the outdoor machine comprises the compressor 1 forming a vertical type scroll compressor and arranged at the side of the blower 5; a waterproof cover 2 arranged in a manner to cover the compressor 1; and an accumulator 3 arranged in a horizontal state below the blower 5 such that the device is formed in a cylindrical shape and the central axis thereof is extended in a horizontal state.
