PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel capable of accomplishing a long focal distance by increasing the backward/forward moving amount of a frame member, as for the lens barrel with plural frame members which are movable backward and forward. SOLUTION: Relating to the lens barrel, a 2nd group frame 22 is interposed between driving systems such as a cam frame M11 and a cam frame F12, and the backward/forward moving position of the cam frame F12 is decided by the 2nd group frame 22 which is driven backward and forward by the cam frame M11. When the cam frame M11 is rotated in a direction E0 and fed out in a direction D1, the 2nd group frame 22 is linearly moved along an optical axis O through a cam follower 32 in a cam groove 11g by the amount of moving component G2. On the other hand, the cam frame F12 is drastically moved in an oblique direction through a cam groove 12c by a cam follower 33 by the amount of moving component G3 while being rotated together with the cam frame M11 in the direction E0.
