PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject device with reduced number of required members by synchronously rotating the body of revolution for supplying selvedge yarns and that for opening the yarns only in one direction. SOLUTION: This device includes a gear 21 for opening selvedge yarns and another gear 24 for supplying selvedge yarns, which are set on supporting axes 19 and 22, respectively, rotationally supported by side plates 14 and 15. These gears 21 and 24 are fit into each other, and the former is also fit into a driving gear 12. A guide body 25 for opening selvedge yarns is set on the end of the supporting axis 19 rotationally supported by the side plates 14 and 15, and a guide body 26 for supplying selvedge yarns is set on the end of the supporting axis 22. Yarn guide holes 261 and 262 are formed on each end of the guide body 26, provided with bobbins 27 and 28. A common passage 191, through which selvedge yarns T1 and T2 are passed, is formed on the supporting axis 19.
