PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate investigation of the contents of a transaction.SOLUTION: A payment processing device for making a payment from a customer to a payment destination by proxy includes: payment reception means for receiving information indicating the amount of a price to be paid and a payment destination which are written on a slip; processing means for executing processing of the payment of the amount indicated on the slip on the basis of the information received by the reception means; and output means for outputting information indicating suspension of a payment processing as displayed information which is discriminated from information on overall processing including payment processing information recorded in a journal or the like whenever a payment processing is suspended.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16
