PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an information transmission system and method in which the reliability of information transmission can be remarkably improved. SOLUTION: In these information transmission system and method, when a communicating means having a communication function performing communication with the outside through a prescribed communication path receives the personal identification information of a user transmitted from a terminal carried by the user, the personal identification information notified from the communicating means through the prescribed communication path is made to correspond to the communicating means, stored and managed so that the user can be accessed through an accessible communicating means on the basis of the personal identification information designated from the outside.
