PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of a conventional paper sheet processing device such as enhancing the fetch speed, enlarging the noise, and reducing the fetch accuracy, in enhancing the processing speed. SOLUTION: An installation example has three types of fetch parts 301, 302, 303, and the fetch part 301 is so constituted as feeding paper sheets 331 to a fetch roller 333 by a paper feed mount 332 and fetching a paper sheet while preventing the next paper sheet from accompanying thereto by a double fetch prevention block 334. The fetched paper sheets are carried to a carrier part 304 composed of a roller 341 and a flat belt 342, accelerated the speed three times of the fetch speed by an acceleration part 305, after the acceleration, carried to a carrier part 306 having the speed three-time of the carrier part 304, joined with the paper sheets fetched from the fetch parts 302, 303 at a junction part 307, and passes a detection part 308 at a prescribed interval.
