Data is provided in human readable format on paper (5,6,7) together with same data in machine readable format (13) to prevent errors during data transfer. Machine readable data is in binary format, a magnetic bar code which is read at receiving unit (14). Data carrier has capacity to hold entire contents of page, is located along edge of paper and has information (8,9,10) converted to standardized data records.
