PURPOSE: A biomarker for diagnosing breast cancer and an agent for diagnosing breast cancer containing a probe are provided to effectively diagnose and early breast cancer. CONSTITUTION: A biomarker for diagnosing breast cancer contains DNA fragment of KRT 15 gene containing a polynucleotide of sequence number 1. The biomarker is specifically downexpressed in breast cancer tissue. An agent for diagnosing breast cancer contains a probe as an active ingredient, which specifically binds to the DNA fragment. The probe comprises a sense primer of sequence number 3 and antisensor of sequence number 4. A biomarker composition for diagnosing breast cancer comprises: the DNA fragment of KRT 15, and DNA fragment of ECRG4 gene containing a polynucleotide of sequence number 5.
