PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel type cooling device with simplified piping and capable of easily performing uniform cooling by each stage of panel type containers and containers for distribution used by the device. SOLUTION: A panel type cooling device comprises cooling panel type container groups 11a, 11b and 11c arranged on the inner wall surface 10 of a chillroom in a plurality of stages and a freezing unit 19 for supplying a cooling medium thereto to cool the chillroom. The cooling panel type container groups 11a, 11b and 11c are connected in series with respect to the freezing unit 19.
