PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly control a tracking error signal or the like in the automatic adjustment of an optical disk drive. SOLUTION: The automatic adjustment is performed on the basis of sampling data without deviation obtained by reading the sampling data referred to when performing an automatic adjustment of such as a tracking error signal, at the same number of times about all around the periphery of the disk. Therefore, the automatic adjustment which reflected the characteristics of each disk more accurately can be performed.
