PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-soluble liquid waste concentrating device in which the concentrated liquid waste keeping its fluidity even when cooled to room temperature can be obtained by concentrating water-soluble liquid waste while the concentration of the water-soluble liquid waste during concentration is kept almost constant and the viscosity of the water-soluble liquid waste is restrained from being increased excessively, which causes bubbling, and from the concentrating kettle of which the concentrated liquid waste can be withdrawn easily. SOLUTION: This device is provided with the concentrating kettle (1), a liquid waste supplying pump (2), a heating means (3), a lowest liquid level detecting means (4), a highest liquid level detecting means (5) and a temperature detecting means (6). When the means (4) detects that the liquid level of the water-soluble liquid waste in the kettle (1) becomes below the lower limit, the water-soluble liquid waste is replenished by the pump (2). When the means (5) detects that the liquid level of the water-soluble liquid waste in the kettle (1) exceeds the upper limit, the replenishment of the water-soluble liquid waste by the pump (2) is stopped. When the means (6) detects that the temperature of the water-soluble liquid waste during concentration becomes equal to or higher than a prescribed temperature of 100-110 deg.C, the heating of the water-soluble liquid waste by the means (3) is stopped.
