PURPOSE: An apparatus for opening an outer coiling end part of a coil product is provided in which working manpower is not required, and damages of the coil and components are prevented by automatically opening the outer coiling end part of the coil. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus which is equipped with a pair of position rolls(12,13) driven by a driving motor(17) and opens an outer coiling end part as rotating a coil by the position rolls(12,13), the apparatus for opening the outer coiling end part of the coil product comprises a strip bending guiding roll(16) which is arranged parallel to the position rolls(12,13) with spaced apart therefrom in a certain distance and rotationally driven by the driving motor(17); a rotation support roll(20) which is arranged between the strip bending guiding roll(16) and the position roll(12); a pair of arms(22) which are mounted on both ends of the rotation support roll(20) and rotationally driven by a cylinder(26); an idling roll(30) which is rotationally mounted between end parts of the arms(22); a strip bending roll(46) which is rotated by brackets and rotationally mounted on the end part of the arms(22); and an opener which is mounted on the end part of the arm(22) so that the opener is rotated and driven by cylinders(48).
