HEAD OF INK JET PRINTER WITH HEMISPHERIC INK CHAMBER AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF THE SAME

PURPOSE: A head of ink jet printer with hemispheric ink chamber and manufacturing method of the same are provided to efficiently cool heat generated in a heater. CONSTITUTION: A head includes a substrate(110) where a manifold(112) supplying ink, an ink chamber(114) practically hemispheric and filled with ink to be discharged and an ink channel(116) supplying ink from the manifold to the ink chamber, are integrated; a nozzle plate(120) formed with a multi-layered structure including a first insulation film(126), a thermal conduction layer(127) made of thermal conductive material, and a second insulation film(128) layered on the substrate in order and having a nozzle(122) formed on a position corresponding with a center of the ink chamber to discharge ink; a nozzle guide(130) with multi-layered structure ex ended from an edge of the nozzle to an inside of the ink chamber; a heater(140) placed on the nozzle plate and formed annularly to surround the nozzle; and an electrode placed on the nozzle plate and electrically connected with the heater to impress current to the heater.
