PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce dew condensation of vapor in a fuser station by providing an air skive assembly in the fuser station of an image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is provided with a photoconductor, a main charger, an exposure device, a toner station, a transfer charger, and the air skive station, and the fuser station 118 includes a pressure roll 122, a fuser roll 124, and upper and lower skive assemblies 128 and 126, and the upper skive assembly 128 has a rib section 132 forming one or more slots which provide an air current pattern to reduce dew condensation, and the upper skive assembly 128 has an insertion preventing device arranged in one or more slots.
