PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which solves the problem, when it takes a long time for the spotting operation of the sample in preparing microarrays, the sample solution dispensed in an MTP plate evaporating with the passage of time to cause differences in its concentration with time, so that it incapable of uniformizing the spot between the start of use and the end of use of a microarray preparation device and the quality of the completed microarray is not stable. SOLUTION: The steam generated in a steam-generating apparatus 30 is controllably supplied to a chamber 21 of an MTP plate box 20 via a filling tube 23, so that the humidity in an upper adjacent space section S of the MTP plate 60 set in the MTP plate box 20 is controlled to a humidity level, which makes it difficult for the evaporation of the sample solution from solution holding holes 62 of the MTP plate 60.
