PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feeding network capable of autonomously limiting and cutting-off a region to be cut-off when a fault occurs and an adaptive overcurrent detecting and cutting- off device required for the current supply network. SOLUTION: The adaptive overcurrent detecting and cutting-off device comprises an overcurrent detection section, a current conduction cut-off section and an overcurrent detection level setting section, wherein the overcurrent detection level setting section has three setting levels, a first level having potentials at both ends of the device, a second level having potential at one end and a third level having no potential at both ends. The overcurrent which is detected in order from the first, the second and the third level is set to vary from large to small, so that the overcurrent during the first period of time is held continuous, the overcurrent is detected by the overcurrent detecting section according to the set levels, and conduction is restored after the elapse of the second period of time longer than the first after conduction is cut-off by the current conduction cut-off section. The current supply network capable of autonomously coping with a fault is constituted by appropriately inserting the adaptive overcurrent detecting and cutting-off device into the feeding network.
