PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the driving method of a display device capable of realizing pseudo HV (horizontal and vertical) inversion drive without enlarging the capacity of a memory in a timing controller IC. SOLUTION: In a timing controller IC 160, a video signal which is inputted serially from the outside is rearranged in a two-pixel unit and it is made to be outputted as serial video signals of every polarity and in DACs (digital-to- analog converters) 140, 150, the serial video signals of every polarity are made to be rearranged into parallel video signals corresponding to output orders of every polarity by latching the video signals before they are subjected respectively to digital-to-analog conversion.
