PURPOSE: A method of changing an icon position in a mobile communication terminal is provided to locate an icon according to a key inputted to change a position of the icon, and to store the position of the icon in a memory, thereby enabling a user to freely configure a screen of the mobile communication terminal. CONSTITUTION: A controller reads a screen changing menu by a key input signal, and displays the menu on a display(200). The controller checks whether a key is inputted from a key input unit(210). If so, the controller checks whether the inputted key is to change a screen(220). If so, the controller reads a selected icon position according to a key input signal for changing the screen, and displays the read icon position on the display(230). The controller stores the icon position displayed on the display in a memory according to a confirm key input signal(240).
