PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spindle device of a disk player, including a self- compensating dynamic balancer. SOLUTION: The spindle device includes: a turntable on which a disk is to be placed, a spindle motor to rotate the turntable, a moving body to compensate for the eccentric center of gravity due to the asymmetry of the disk, and the self-compensating dynamic balancer having a race in which a moving body moves. The self-compensating dynamic balancer includes an annular race encircling the rotational center of the turntable and having a predetermined depth and width, and an annular moving body placed in the race, the annular moving body has an inner diameter wider than that of the race and an outer diameter narrower than that of the race, so that the eccentric center of gravity thereof can be moved in the race. Since the number of components is reduced in comparison with that of a conventional balancer, the spindle device can easily be manufactured and suitable for mass-production, the component can easily be managed and the cost can be reduced.
