PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a vacuum cleaner which is compact, user-friendly, and efficient in dust collection. SOLUTION: The vacuum cleaner is composed of a floor nozzle 20 with a dust suction opening 21, a dust chamber 25 which communicates with the floor nozzle 20, and an axial electric air blower 27 which is provided at the downstream side of the dust chamber 25.
