PLANTING BASE AND PLANTING STRUCTURE FOR ROOFTOP GREENING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planting base for rooftop greening, lighter in weight than conventional one, and comprising a base layer having lower alkalinity pH and excellent in a balance between water retainability and drainage, and to provide a planting structure for rooftop greening using the planting base for rooftop greening. SOLUTION: The planting base A for rooftop greening is obtained by laminating a planting layer 2 comprising plants 21 and soil 22 on the upper surface of an autoclaved lightweight concrete (ALC) plate 1. The planting structure for rooftop greening is obtained by arranging spacers 5 between the planting base A for rooftop greening and a slab surface 6 on which the planting base for rooftop greening.
