PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a breather structure of a gear box for a vehicle provided in the gear box transmitting the power of an engine and a motor, preventing oil leakage in the box and avoiding the absorption of water therein. SOLUTION: The breather structure is provided in the gear box 11 and the motor gear box 29 transmitting the power of a diesel engine or a motor generator 27. Through-holes 11c, 43a are formed in the gear box 11 and a transmission cover 43, and the inside of the gear box 11 is communicated with the inside of the cover 43 by a communicating pipe 53.
