<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a printed circuit board and a flat cable which can be connected in a simple structure, without the need of a strip process and without using heat. <P>SOLUTION: A through-hole 4 is formed on a printed circuit board 1, and a through-hole conductive layer 5, fitted to an inside face of the through-hole 4, is connected with a circuit conductor 3 of the printed circuit board. A flat cable 6 with a flat conductor 7 coated with a flat insulation coating 8 is overlapped on an end part of the through-hole 4 at the part of the flat conductor 7. Two notches 11 are cut in the flat cable 6 according an inside dimension of the through-hole at the part of the flat conductor 7 corresponding to the through-hole 4. A part 12 along the two notches 11 is erected inside the through-hole, and an end face of the flat conductor 7 facing the cross section of the erected part of the flat cable 6 inside the through-hole 4 is made in elastic contact with the through-hole conductive layer 5 to be electrically connected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
