PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic camera capable of performing exposure control that flexibly copes with the displayed state of a moving picture for confirmation before photographing. SOLUTION: In this electronic camera provided with an imaging device for picking up the image of an object, a displaying part for displaying images outputted from the imaging device that continuously picks up the images in real time, and a control means that comprises loops for correcting exposure and performs feedback control on the basis of the brightness of an image outputted from the imaging device, a first loop just after the start of the feedback control corrects (3') exposure on the basis of brightness (1' and 2') of a plurality of images (A and B) outputted from the imaging device.
