PURPOSE: A retainer ring assembly of an airbag for a driver's seat is provided to prevent an airbag cushion from being damaged against heat of an inflator in exploding the inflator by installing a housing in the retainer ring. CONSTITUTION: A retainer ring assembly of an airbag is composed of a housing(20) opening at one side and containing an inflator, and a retainer ring(10) installed to the opening part of the housing. A gas discharge hole is formed in the housing, and the clearance is formed between the housing and the inflator. The gas discharge holes are formed at the side of the housing and in the upper part of the housing, and the gas discharge amount of the side is equal to the gas discharge amount of the upper part. The gas flow is guided by mounting the housing with the gas discharge holes to the retainer ring. |
