<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to ensure uniform airtightness of heating wires to side faces of a CRT and heat the side faces without unevenness. <P>SOLUTION: Retaining bodies 13a, 13b themselves and retaining bodies 13c, 13d themselves are moved toward a direction nearing each other by their respective driving mechanisms 15, 16 to have each heating wire 12a to 12d in contact with a corresponding side wall 81b of a panel part 81.
