PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method allowing each user to provide optimum navigation information to a requiring opposite party with a simple configuration, without providing an information center or the like managing the information. SOLUTION: This supply method for the navigation information includes: a retrieval step (S11) for retrieving a route on which a vehicle travels; a data collection step (S14) for starting a camera at a prescribed point based on map information, photographing an image in front of a mobile body, and storing image data in a storage device when the mobile body travels on the route retrieved in the retrieval step (S12); and information transmission steps (S21-23) for reading the image data from the storage device, and transmitting them to an external mobile terminal device when receiving a prescribed request signal. Thereby, a facility such as an information center is not required, the image data of the necessary point are collected by user's intention, and the suitable image data can be supplied to the opposite party requiring the information.
