The present invention is related to the lock production industry, more particularly to an overlapped lock with a slipper manually actuated by a handle-latch hidden at the lower portion thereof, thereby preventing a hook or a similar accessory from accessing said slipper, thus increasing safety. However, the slipper can be simultaneously retracted and the door pulled by a single hand action. The lock includes a base where the mechanism is assembled, said assembly being carried out by pins located at the base and having diverse diameters, and by special perforations in some pieces of the mechanism such as: slipper plate, lock plate and balance beam. The inventive lock further having circular-shaped perforations located at the installation screw base, said screws being covered by the lock case, as well as a slipper assembled to the slipper plate, the user having the option of placing the slipper in outwardly or inwardly collapsible doors before installing the lock cover.
