PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically originate calls to all telephone numbers published on a Web page without requiring any special description on the Web page. SOLUTION: By using a computer 13 connected to an IP network 1 via a public line network 2 and accessible to information data distributed on the IP network 1, a telephone set 12 capable of calling via the public line network 2 or the IP network 1 and an ADSL MODEM 22 for mutually converting a digital signal to/from an audio signal for connecting the computer 13 and the telephone set 12 to the IP network 1 or the public line network 2, in the computer 13, the information data distributed on the IP network 1 are acquired, a telephone number is detected out of a character string contained in the acquired information data, and start of call origination to the detected telephone number is requested. In the ADSL MODEM 22, call origination to the telephone number is performed in response to the request of the call origination start, and communication established by the call origination is connected to the telephone set 12.
