PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for avoiding structural breakage by lightning.SOLUTION: There is provided a coating composition for reducing structural breakage of a substrate generated by interaction between the substrate and thunder discharge plasma. There is provided a coating composition containing a binder having a plurality of pigment particles, where the plurality of pigment particles has a particle diameter distribution containing a first part of the pigment particles back scattering UV energy as it is relatively longer than UV wavelength from the thunder discharge plasma and a second part of the pigment particles forward scattering IR energy as it is relatively shorter than IR wavelength. There is provided a coating composition where preferably the first part of the forward pigment back scatters wavelength of 10 to 200 nm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
