<p>Capacitors made by coiling together electrodes of anodised Al with a paper between them and filling the interstices with electrolyte have an electrolyte of compsn. esp. similar or equal to 5 moles H3BO3, 9-11 moles glycol, similar or equal to 1 mole -NH3 0.04-0.07 mole H3PO4 and 0.4 mol mannitol, for high tension applications, and esp. 1-2 moles H3BO3, 13-15 moles glycol, is 1 mol KOH and 0.01-0.03 moles H3PO4 for low tension applications 0.01-2 wt.% of mono or dodecyl phosphate may be added to either type. Charge consumption is reduced by =20%.</p> |
