The invention relates to a tool-electrode meant to be used for making holes of helical trajectories by electrical discharge. According to the invention, the tool-electrode is made of copper pipe with an active part (1) consisting of a suitable number of helical turns for making a through hole throughout the thickness of a piece (3), the active part (1) being concentric and coaxial with an electrode shaft (2) which, besides the gripping and driving function, also serves to the pressurized injection of dielectric therethrough, with a view to cooling, washing and removing the electrical discharge by-products from a working interstice (a). |
