1429987 Detergent bleach composition FMC CORP 6 Aug 1973 [4 Aug 1972] 37177/73 Heading C5D [Also in Divisions A5 and D1] Detergent compositions in powder form, comprising as dry bleach the dihydrate of sodium dichloroisocyanurate or a mixture of such with sodium dichloroisocyanurate having less combined water than the dihydrate but so that the average combined water content of the mixture is over 11%, are formulated by dispensing the dry bleach from a bulk storage zone into a blending zone in which admixture of the components takes place, whereby fire and dust problems are diminished. The compositions may be used in household or commercial dish-washing machines, or as scouring powders. In the example, the dry bleach is mixed with sodium silicate, sodium carbonate, sodium tripolyphosphate, sodium sulphate and an ethoxylated alcohol surfactant to produce a household automatic dishwasher composition. |
