The device for producing conducting paths for printed circuits has a plate attached to a printing head which is pressed down onto the conducting foil to mask those areas of the conductor which are not to be removed during further processing. The areas between these masked areas are left exposed. The printing head also covers the conductor's through-contact holes. The conducting foil has no support layer and is presed between two congruent printing plates. The foil is coated with an adhesive before pressing so that it may be attached to a support layer later. The foil is also coated with a protection film before pressing.
