The stable tray carrier may be used to convey beverage filled glasses by hand and comprises a handled (6) suspension frame (2). The frame has demi-circular arched bars wi th the tray (1) attached to the basal free ends, and a supple vertical link (5) between the top of the frame (2) and a handle ring (6) is connected by ball and socket joints. The pin-jointed link (5) connections avoid the transmission of hand movements to the tray. The arrangement may inc two suspension bars (2) disposed at 90 deg. relative to one another in plan. The link (5) may be of plastic or may be a coil spring and has a ball (4,8) built axially onto each end. The balls slit in demi-spherical cups (3,7) appended to the handle ring (6) and the suspension frame (2) resp., with axial openings in each cup traversed by the link shaft (5). The suspension frame may in clips which grip the edge of the tray (1).
