<p>Vic-triazoles are obtained in almost quantitative yield and high purity when alpha -oximino-arylhydrazones of the formula N=C-R1 ¦¦ Ar--NH¦ ¦ HO-N=C-R2n IN WHICH Ar represents an aromatic-carbocyclic or aromatic heterocyclic radical, R1 denotes an aliphatic or aromatic radical, R2 denotes hydrogen or an aliphatic or aromatic radical and n denotes the numbers 1 or 2, are reacted with at least 1 mol equivalent of a cyclising agent in the presence of heavy metals or of their ions.</p> |
