PURPOSE:To reduce the basic unit of heat, by processing more than two annealing plates together in an annealing furnace, and cooling one by one after extracting the annealing plates. CONSTITUTION:More than two pieces of annealing plates, such as steel plates, are joined together and charged in an annealing furnace, and heated to a holding temperature. After letting stand at the holding temperature for a specified period of time, the annealing plates are slowly cooled to the extraction temperature. Then, the annealing plates are extracted from the annealing furnace by using a crane, and are separated, and cooled one by one. When annealing the annealing plates of the same dimensions together, batch annealing process to cool the furnace temperature gradually may be employed. By measuring the temperature of each part between joined annealing plates by means of thermocouples, a proper furnace staying duration is determined. If two or more annealing plates after extraction are cooled together, the annealing plates may warp due to difference in cooling temperature. Therefore, the annealing plates must be cooled one by one. In this process, the basic unit of heat may be reduced to about 1/2 in the case of two-plate joining. |
