PURPOSE:To obtain the process time of the data based on the data quantity transmitted to the terminal unit as well as the process speed and then carrying out the selection for the subsequent data transmission based on the time obtained above. CONSTITUTION:Processor CPU receives the information of transmission end for the information block from communication control unit CCP and then carries out the release of the data link and the recognition of the transmission character number. Then the printing speed is obtained according to the types of terminal units TU1- TUn and the correspondence table SPT of the printing speed. In addition, the process time is obtained for the terminal unit according to the transmission character number and the printing speed along with the correction given when necessary. Then the transmission of the selecting sequence is waited at register TUC for the next information block until the time mentioned above passes. And with reception of the informatipn showing the end of the queuing time, and immediately the transmission is started for the selecting sequence information. As a result, the retransmission process can be omitted for the selecting sequence information, thus increasing the transmission efficiency. |
