PURPOSE:To improve degassing and facilitate formation of a plate, by pressing the plate to a porous board having many small projections on the surface during the process of formation. CONSTITUTION:Stainless steel frames 1, 1 have many circular concave portions 2 at equal distances on their surface facing each other, each concave 2 having a small degassing hole 3 with a stepped through hole 3a on the bottom 2a. An expanded metal or wire gauze 5 is put in each through hole as a porous board extending over the degassing hole 3 and spot-welded to the bottom 2a. A plate 4 is put between the concaves 2, 2 of both frames 1, 1, being kept in touch with the expanded metals or wire gauzes 5. The rugged surface of the expanded metals or wire gauzes 5 presses the plate 4 without dispersion. This facilitates degassing of the plate 4, without allowing it to expand. |
